In 2018 Repsol, the 8th largest Oil & Gas company in the world, decided to make a big bet on Digital Transformation. The corporation announced a Digital Strategy plan over 4 years, committing €1B of free cash-flow return and a yearly investment of more that €150M. Data analytics and AI is the key driver of the program and Y-Mobility has been involved as strategic advisors and interim Managers from the beginning of the project.

Platform Strategy

Y-Mobility has been leading the design and implementation of the Data Platform strategy, from both a technological and organizational perspective.

Program Management

Y-Mobility has provided Repsol with the expertise required to manage large scale transformation programs. Y–Mobility has been in charge of the Data Program for Industrial Analytics at Repsol.

Community of practice

As required for the scale of the project, Y-Mobility has designed and implemented a model for community of practice around data in Repsol. It involves more than 700 professionals and acts as an accelerator for knowledge transfer and enablement.

They approached Y-Mobility because they wanted to develop a knowledge transfer program to learn about the automotive ecosystems and the embedded and critical systems. Y-Mobility was working with the team at B4Motion in 2017 and 2018 to develop the program and support some of their companies.
